Krishna Paksha Thapa Kanxey

Hi there,

My name is Krishna Paksha Thapa, though many know me as KanxeY.  People call me Krish in Israel; back home, I am सानुकान्छा, कान्छा र कान्छे .  When I begin to play with colors, or let my thoughts spill onto the pages of my diary, I simply become KanxeYThat is who I am—a nostalgia, a childhood echo, a quiet memory, a pulse of creative energy living within me.

This is my personal space. Here, I write about random thoughts and wandering ideas, but mostly I share what occupies my mind and heart—art, animation, and spirituality. These are the themes I return to, again and again. I was born and raised in Nepal, and I currently live in Israel, carrying pieces of both worlds within me.

Writing has always been close to my soul. I worked as a co-editor for Nepali diasporic monthly print magazines Nepal Chautari and Mero Nepal, and published my first book, तिर्खा—an anthology of Nepali short stories. I have also written for several online news portals.  Alongside words, I craft and design websites, blending structure with storytelling.  Beyond the screen, I find joy in painting and animation, where imagination moves freely.

Much of what I know, I have learned on my own—from the quiet comfort of my room. Udemy, Coursera and Youtube are my Gurus .  I  attended short courses like in Artist House, Tel Aviv, with Gad Apoteker, and completed online caricature courses with cartoonist Abin Shrestha.

I consider myself a casual spiritual practitioner too . Time has been my greatest teacher.  Whenever it allows, I immerse myself in spiritual literature and fiction. The thoughts and opinions shared on this blog are entirely my own.
